Typical Memorial dedicated to a native Atlantan who served in the Armed Forces of the United States and lost his life in the War in the Republic of Vietnam.

Atlanta Vietnam Veteran’s Business Association

The purpose of the Atlanta Vietnam Veteran’s Business Association is to promote patriotism and sponsor activities of a patriotic nature among the business community; to recognize those who served; to honor those who gave their lives in the Vietnam War and to promote a positive image of the Vietnam Veteran.

Our primary focus is a commitment to preserve the memory of those who gave their life so the citizens of the future will know the sacrifices they made for our freedom.

Each year since 1987, the Atlanta Vietnam Veteran’s Business Association (AVVBA) has dedicated a memorial to one of the 418 Georgia servicemen who were killed or missing in action during the Vietnam War. We conduct a solemn and formal military ceremony that is attended by the immediate family of the honoree, business leaders, government officials, elected representatives, and the general public. These memorials of granite and bronze are located at prominent sites throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
